Number formats & helpful tips

Auto-detect handles Malaysian local numbers (including mobile numbers missing the leading 0), international numbers with + or 00, numbers already containing a country code, tel: numbers, and WhatsApp links. Common separators and full-width digits are supported. Malaysian +60 (0) formatting is cleaned automatically. A bare number can be ambiguous: Malaysia is the default, so use + and the country code for certainty. Paste one number at a time; extensions and contact cards are not supported.

Validation checks formatting and a 7–15 digit length; it cannot confirm whether a number exists or has WhatsApp. Malaysian numbers receive an additional length check. Extensions, letters and multiple numbers are not supported. WhatsApp may open its app, web version, or a sign-in screen depending on your device.

Deploy this page with Cloudflare Pages

  2. Sign in to Cloudflare. Open Workers & Pages, choose Create application → Get started → Drag and drop your files under Pages (the wording may vary). Select the Pages / Direct Upload option.
  3. Name the project, upload the folder containing index.html (or a ZIP with index.html at its root), then select Deploy site. No build command or dependencies are needed.
  4. Visit the assigned your-project.pages.dev address. Test a number, message and Copy Link. To update, create a new deployment in the same project and upload the updated folder.

Optional: connect wa.aliffr.com
  1. You must control DNS for aliffr.com. In your Pages project, open Custom domains → Set up a custom domain and enter wa.aliffr.com.
  2. Follow Cloudflare’s prompts. If Cloudflare manages your DNS, approve the proposed record. Otherwise, create a CNAME at your DNS provider: name wa, target your actual your-project.pages.dev hostname, without https:// or a path. Resolve any conflicting record for wa.
  3. Associate the hostname in Pages before adding the CNAME. Wait for domain verification and the HTTPS certificate to become active, then visit https://wa.aliffr.com.
